François
Dreulle
François Dreulle is a French painter and watercolorist. The artist started painting at a very young age. In 1957, he created his first cubist gouaches as well as his first attempts at automatic writing. From 1959, he participated in group exhibitions.
In 1965, he opened a gallery in the basement of his studio where modern painting, naive art, regional art, art Brut, sculpture as well as his personal works met until 1988. He then left the management of his company in order to devote himself solely to painting. Through the practice of automatic writing, which he now uses, François Dreulle tells a new story in each painting, which he invites us to discover the meaning of.
He has since exhibited in numerous galleries in Paris, Ile-de-France or London, such as the Galerie du Pavillon Royal, the Patrice Rostain galleries, Terre de Sienne, AB63, Racine and Jonas, Eonnet and Jonas, Eonnet, Mouvances or Del Grabado galleries in Chile. His works reside in private collections in Europe, the United States and Japan.
