Eduardo Arroyo was a Spanish painter and sculptor, born on February 26, 1937 in Madrid and died on October 14, 2018 in Madrid. He was also a writer and art critic.
Arroyo was associated with the Narrative Figuration art movement, a movement that developed in the 1960s and sought to reintroduce narrative and figurative elements into contemporary art, in opposition to the dominant abstraction of the time.
