The Delvaux vein has been exploited by far too many merchants. But other surrealist artists form a common thread through the fair. We go from a beautiful precocious Survival at Harold t'Kind in Roodenbeke to a wall of Magritte drawings at De Jonckheere, from a surrealist cabinet at Agnès Aittouarès (AB & BA) to the Magritte-Tanguy-Ernst trio at La Béraudière, from a selection of photos at La Béraudière, from a selection of photos at Sophie Scheidecker to this monumental set by Max Ernst at Die Galerie. The three bronzes were executed in 2020 based on the stone works shown in 1968 at the Alexandre Iolas gallery in Paris.
