The Drouot district has its eyes fixed on the most famous auction house in France with 6,000 daily visitors. This gives him a touch of modesty and a certain guile. If we have fun comparing it to Parisian islands dedicated to art and antiquity, it has kept a nice atypical profile. “And customers of the same fabric,” jokes the antique dealer Philippe Delpierre, who left the Left Bank three years ago to settle on Rue Chauchat.
