Agnès Aittouares settles on the left bank

After more than thirty years a stone's throw from Drouot, Agnès Aittouarès crossed the Seine to settle at 5 rue Jacques Callot, in Samantha Sellem's former gallery. “I preferred Saint-Germain-des-Prés rather than Matignon because I think there are more visitors, a synergy between retailers who organize events that work very well, such as Le Jeudi des Beaux-Arts, PhotoSaintGermain, le Parcours des Mondes (which attracts collectors of primitive arts but also modern art)...” [...] The line of programming in his new gallery is defined with the inaugural exhibition: “I intend to present monographic or thematic exhibitions such as “Picasso. The strength of the line”, which brings together a set of drawings by the artist from 1942 to 1971.”
